In-kind grants of technology to USA, Canada, and International schools and IHEs to provide information technology support for faculty, students, and staff. Grant recipients will receive software, licences, and support to implement a call center platform that works over multiple channels (phone, email, and chat) to provide after-hours and weekend IT support.

The After Hours & Weekends IT Help Desk Grant is designed to provide awarded institutions with the requisite licenses and services to a comprehensive After Hours & Weekends IT Help Desk solution. 

Benefits of the After Hours and Weekends IT Help Desk Grant: 

  • A multi-channel (phone, email and chat) call center platform integrates with your ITSM and that enables you to track all incoming and outgoing interactions with students.
  • IT Help Desk technicians that work after-hours and weekends and handle various student, faculty and staff IT requests ranging from email to password to gradebook issues.
  • Highly skilled IT support staff, scalability during peak seasons (fall/spring rush), customized support, access to latest IT infrastructure, years of industry expertise in providing IT support etc.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

- Accredited Higher Education institutions and K-12 schools are eligible to apply.
- Institutions are eligible to apply for multiple grants. Separate applications are required for each grant pursued.

- Scope and Project review by Grant Consideration Committee: June 8 – June 15, 2020
- Applicant Technical Assessment Session with Technology Vendor by: June 22, 2020
- Award Announcement to selected Grant Recipients by: June 29, 2020
- Award Package Issued to selected Grant Recipients by: June 29, 2020
- Award Package walk-through and Grant recipient sign-off by: July 6, 2020
- Project Kick-Off by: July 20, 2020

If your institution has previously received a grant award for other Campus Consortium grants, your campus is eligible to apply for this grant.

Applicants are required to demonstrate institutional purpose in the form of a “letter of intent” signed by Dean/President or member of campus leadership team. The letter should indicate the challenges the solution aims to solve and why the grant would be helpful to the institution.
