Grants to USA organizations for programs that assist children who are deaf and hearing impaired. Assistance is also provided to the children's families. A Letter of Inquiry is required prior to submission of the full proposal. Funding is intended to increase family access to resources and services and to support programs from newborn screening through early intervention for children ages 0-3.
The Oberkotter Foundation funds programs in the United States that promote listening and spoken language (LSL) for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. The Foundation’s strategy is to support and empower families throughout their journey to achieve LSL outcomes for their children who are deaf or hard of hearing through awareness, education, connections, collaboration, and access to resources.
For the Fall 2020 Program Support Grant cycle, the Foundation is inviting applications for projects that will improve families’ access to coordinated LSL and audiology services for their children 0-3.
