Energize Delaware - Energy Equity Fund
Grants to Delaware nonprofit and community-based organizations, businesses, schools, municipalities, and faith-based entities for programs that improve energy efficiency and promote economic development in vulnerable communities. Certain applicants must submit an LOI prior to applying. Funding is intended to inspire and support creative problem solving – within and across sectors and stakeholders – to make the region better for everyone.
The Empower Ecosystem Grant is designed to provide operating support to programs and organizations that are interested in working together to further support a sustainable environment and economic development. Grants will support cross-sector collaborations that are sustainable, just, and inclusive to advance the goals of all the focus areas.
The Empowerment Grant’s vision is to implement impactful and innovative energy equity projects in underserved communities that include direct investment, community outreach, education, and engagement. The Empowerment Grant is focused on expanding the inclusion and participation of low- and moderate-income communities in the clean energy movement.
