Grants of up to $30,000 to Delaware nonprofit organizations and schools for economic and financial literacy programs serving adults and youth. Funding is intended for programs that teach students about saving at an early age, assist families on the way to achieve home ownership, offer resources to single parents for financial independence, and, in general, to improve the financial literacy of Delaware residents. Particular interest is given to preventive, forward-thinking, and proactive programs.

Applications for programs and services designed to reach populations or geographic regions within the State that have had limited access to financial literacy programs are encouraged, with special emphasis on reaching out to veterans, seniors, and minority communities.

Grants will be awarded to schools or other organizations for:

  1. K-12 Financial Literacy Programs: Programs that provide financial and economic literacy skills for students in grades K-12.
